You're lucky to have a ram that you can put in the truck. Our Aussie White would have headbutted everything thing in sight. He has turned into a big bully. It pays to always carry a pool noodle.
Yay Tally!! What a brave fellow. When Gus, my African Boer goat, came of age he underwent a similar procedure but in our barn with me holding him still. Gus missed out on a stylish pickup ride to the vets office And on meeting the local police. Oh well. He forgave me.
As for plate tags? Mine were also left in a safe place (on the kitchen) where nothing in that particular pile ever gets lost 🤷🙄
Oh my, poor boy. But he will be much happier not alone in a week or so. I really feel like sending this post to a group of European and Australian Airedale owners to gander. They are all up in arms about American's docking part of their tails when born. They want to see them all long and curly and cute. They want them to look like "doodles'. These guys are TERRIERS, weighing in from 50-100 pounds. They are working dogs and kill things that farmers don't want around. Great around kids and other dogs. They are smarter than their owners. But cats, rats, moles, otters, squirrels and even beavers don't stand a chance around them. The big guys are used around here to hunt bear, because they are fearless and will 'tree' them. You can grab them by their tails, and it does not hurt them (great if they are stuck in a hole trying to get something so you can pull them out) Been owned by 6 of these darlings. They are hilarious but not for the faint of heart, don't have a place for them to run and dig, and not willing to be the alpha at all times. As I said before they are super smart, sneaky, plot against you and pout if you don't do what they want you to do. And I adore them and proud to be a 'dementated Airedale owner'.
Take care of Tally he is a great ram and family member. I am still laughing at the visualization of the trooper stopping you with the little guy in the back seat. Hilarious!
Hey friend. Would you send me your email address? I have a question about spinning your top, or I can do it here.
So does he baa-baa in soprano?
I love your stories, even the squeamish ones :)

Tally will find new interests and be a calmer happier boy!
Glad to hear Tally is doing well.
