We raised our three kids doing 18th c re-enactments in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. And one event, I helped set up a dye pot demo with the other women. While the dudes were out playing war games, I got to be the first to fire a wall gun brought by a blacksmith friend. So fun to be the cool mom!
