To have a shearing update and lots of pics for you folks today. However…..As the saying goes, make plans and the Gods laugh. Our shearer got quite sick and could not make our date of 3/23. She had to push it out another 2 weeks. So, we are aiming for 4/6 now.
So sorry about the shearer issue! Glad you all made the best of things, ate and drank hearty, And wrangled those wild goats. This snow - Beginning to get old.

Looking forward to seeing the woolly goodness when it finally happens! I am hoping to shear a few goats this weekend and get vaccinations done and then get going on some garden stuff, but my motivation went to about zero when I realized there’s a few inches of soggy snow on the ground this morning. So now I’m sulking and knitting and drinking coffee and trying to figure out how I’m going to salvage the weekend. Grrr.
