I pretty much dislike the saying “Never a dull moment” I prefer the dull moments. Dull moments around here mean nobody is hurt, sick, stuck, or doing stupid stuff. Dull means nothing is self-destructing. Dull means way less worry and stress for me. I have enough of that already without something here adding to it.
So glad you found Angus when you did, you are such a good shepherdess. Your flock is so lucky to have you, because you love them and work hard for them.
OMG, you do live a stress-free life. (I crack myself up). I could visualize every moment and thought there was no way I could do that physically. My only option would have been to wrap him in something like a firewood carrier and lift him up with a crane. I had no idea that sheep could die from lying down incorrectly, that is terrifying as a mom.
My only words of wisdom: Old age is not for sissies.
