Good grief! That sounds absolutely exhausting and worrying but so good to hear that Angus is on the mend after that ordeal!

So glad you found Angus when you did, you are such a good shepherdess. Your flock is so lucky to have you, because you love them and work hard for them.

OMG, you do live a stress-free life. (I crack myself up). I could visualize every moment and thought there was no way I could do that physically. My only option would have been to wrap him in something like a firewood carrier and lift him up with a crane. I had no idea that sheep could die from lying down incorrectly, that is terrifying as a mom.

My only words of wisdom: Old age is not for sissies.

Glad you had your guardian angels around you today. Take care friend.

Thank you. I’ll let you in on a secret...my back is killing me and I pulled a muscle in my butt!!

How could it not???!!!! Butt muscles are the worst, sitting hurts. You can't take a tubby. Guess you could stand in the shower and blast your butt with boiling water. Sitting on a heating pad is probably the best choice.

Enjoy the snow!

hugs

PS: Why do dogs eat deer and other poop? It is not like they don't have good stuff around all the time and they are trying to survive in the wild.

PSS: Saw a tee shirt in a catalogue that I might have to buy, but my grandsons would think I was gross. How to handle stress like a dog...If you can't eat or play with it, pee on it and walk away!

LOL!!! I did the shower thing. Didn’t help much. The Advil is starting to kick in. Taking my boots off is a whole new level of fun!!

No idea why they eat it. Guess it just tastes good. Considering we just got rid of tapeworms in the house wolf, I would prefer he not get them again, or any other nastiness they carry.

I’ve seen that shirt. I consider it good advice.
