Sounds as though every power company comes with the same attitude!

Love you

No kidding. We’ve had very similar experiences.

So it seems!

Loved this story. Thanks for sharing.

I wonder if a few(many) scattered field stones during next falls soggy season might help you keep the tractor from sliding. Once they freeze in place it might stop a half slide from turing into a full. And, maybe a slight decrease in tire pressure might help with more surface contact. Just a thought.

Thanks! I’ll keep that in mind! The tires are already low for winter now also. I appreciate your input!

Oh my. Look at you, Ms. Winter Tractor Wrangler!

I had the theme from "Bonanza" going through my head watching those sheep trot in from the snowy distance.

Loved all the detail in this and the sheep video of course. They look so pleased with themselves.

What dog breed is Miss Mako?

Thank you! Miss Mako is a Colorado Mountain Dog. A newer hybrid livestock breed with a base breed of Pyrenees. She is a big white fluffy girl!

Just Googled this. Wow, a beautiful breed!

They are super sweet dogs with an attitude towards predators! They adore their sheep and will clean their faces and snuggle with them at night.

I’m with Miss Mako — I’m not built for winter either 🙂 We spent time in Wyoming during COVID but it was summertime. We loved it! We were supposed to spend a couple of days in Yellowstone and ended up staying a week. I can’t remember the town where we had an RV campsite but it was a short drive to Yellowstone and Cody. We went to the rodeo, enjoyed some delicious steaks, fished and so much more!

Ugh. Glad you’re okay (and didn’t run over Michael) with all the tractor shenanigans. I’m also ready for spring.

He can run faster than I was sliding!

I hope your lambs areh't due to be born soon. When I had sheep lambing it was always on the coldest night in the wettest or iciest spot they could find to put a newborn lamb!! I retired my sheep when I turned 80, they just eat and enjoy winter now with no ram. I do miss the lambs in the spring though.

Love your stories.

We are not lambing anymore either. So nobody is pregnant. When I was, I planned lambs for May. And we lambed in the barn always. I prefer a more controlled environment for that. I do miss lambs also but my health is dictating where we are going now.

Thank you for loving my stories!
