What a wonderful gift and caring people to help you get it up and running. I know as you play with it more it will become an old friend :). The headband looks very cool!

How wonderful to have a sock knitting machine over 100 years old! And to receive the help and expertise of others to improve it's workability and your own skills. :)

It can be easily assumed that a sock knitting machine is a step up, from hand knitting, but I've heard these are difficult to master. It's great that you persevered with the machine and got it to work. Lovely projects!

I have never seen a sock machine, ever! And of course I've never known anybody who could make socks. And now I do and I don't care what you say, they're absolutely beautiful! And that headband! Sensational. Wow.
