You envision beautiful green fields, blossoming with colorful wildflowers. Rows of crops growing with nary a weed. Placid livestock grazing contentedly on new grass. Steller sunrises and sunsets as you go about doing your daily chores.
Having the adjustable wrench in the pocket is something I hadn’t thought of, but will be employed forthwith - I keep box knives in all my coat pockets. I’m less pissed when I invariably lose them than I am one of my good everyday pocket knives. I’m washing my bibs and heavy carhartt as we speak and the tip about the boot brand is noted - I’ve been debating a pull on for a few years now.
Many thanks for the timely tips!! I broke down yesterday and bought myself a new and sturdy pair of insulated leather boots with traction soles. For the last six snowless Colorado years my leather and synthetic fabric Merrill boots worked fine. I no longer will be taking those delicate daily barn trips to feed only supplement to my horse. Now I live where it's cold and snowy! Yay!
The other clothing recommendations I have. Mostly. Gloves however....I learned years ago to purchase at least three pairs each year. As you state, your favorite pair will be sold out if you go Back for more.
This was fascinating! Thank you! I’m also thinking this sounds a little pricey--not on a per item basis but the sheer number of layers and items. Any idea of the total?
Red canvas! Very fetching. I just finished knitting a couple of hats, and now husband wants another in beige - he says it'll be for "cammo." ....whatever.
