If you live in the USA, you are probably very aware of the recent mini ice age that has blown across the country this past week. I must say, as a farmer, it was most challenging. I must say, as a human, it was even more challenging.
I was marveling at how tropical 30 degrees felt yesterday after this cold snap. I did chores in my shirt sleeves without batting an eye and came inside sweaty.
Lmao picturing That move!! Oona went out willingly the first time, posed for a pee, came back onto the cement step and just laid down so she could give me the side eye. Guess the aborted poop pose led to a back up in the manufacturing plant?
So glad you have such a fine sense of humor! All you need to do is install a spigot in a water bucket, set the bucket on a table near your chair in the living room, leave the ice in place and pour the Jack and Coke over the top. Saves miles of walking going back to the kitchen to make a refill.
We enjoyed similar circumstances here. The heater just couldn't keep up, pipes froze - lessons previously learned about this were to my shame revisited, no showering, my entitled-minded dog had to be coerced to go outside so had to clean some carpet a couple times. Winter camping!
Surviving the Mini Ice Age

You are AMAZING! Wow! Thanks for telling us about all of this... I don't know how you do it!
You are an iron woman.

You are one strong woman. My hat is off to you. I live in California - one of the few places in the country that had nice weather over the holidays.
