We have not had any measurable wet stuff of any persuasion in the past month-ish or so. And for November in this part of the world, it’s unseasonably warm with our days staying mainly in the high 50’s to low 60’s.
But he is now pain reduced and color coordinated with his green hood and green ear tag. Once he figures out how cushy it is in the barn, you’ll probably never get him to leave!
Good luck. We are way too dry, for way too long. The tree leaves are dry and brittle, our humidity is in the 30's and we have fire warnings out for the entire area. It is scary because the wind is going to pick up and if this tinder box starts it will be a disaster for all of us that have homes in the woods. I thought 2022 was rough, but 2023 is just as bad, and I am a pretty laid-back optimist. Hate to say this, but a good tropical storm would be welcomed.

He's doing great today, complaining about being stuck in the barn but walking quite well.
