I’m getting inundated too. I think part of our problem is the weeds have gotten so high the mice have lots of cover, but I’m planning on changing that tomorrow afternoon. I’ll be refreshing the zap traps in the well house while I’m at it. I can deal with the spiders (especially the cat faced ones) but I am flat over the mice!

The sheep have kept the weeds down around the house pretty well for me. It is scary how early they are coming in. I don’t usually have them in these numbers until the the beginning of October

Me either. It’s a bit...concerning.

It is hard to even imagine low temperature yet. Here in Texas, we are excited when we have a day which "only" gets as high as 94. So, the mice and bugs are all hiding outside, so far, only a few critters looking for water (mostly wasps).

We are at 95 right now, and that is just too dang hot for me. I would happily take 65-75 year round!
