Marked for life! I'm so sorry! Hope your head and back feel better soon and your neck was unaffected.

You really don't have to go to such extremes to make this Blog an interesting read; basic every day farm stuff will be perfectly fine.

I thought about you when the snow here was going horizontal. 🤪

Sheesh woman! I don’t support this adventurism though I truly admire it. Give yourself a break and take care

On the one hand, I'm so sorry about your fall and hope you will be "mended" soon. On the other hand and at the same time your story was priceless. Take care.

Happy to see this turn out to be a funny ending! Could have been worse but you definitely turned it around.

The amount of times I’ve fallen down and avoided major injury is a higher number than I’d like to admit. Keep us update on the forehead marking. That’ll be a pretty little bruise!

Its always a comedy of errors here! So far its not turning colors, i'm kind of surprised!

Yeehaw - I’ve done that a few times although I don’t recall ever breaking a door. Maybe my head isn’t as hard as yours. 😁

Food for thought on the glasses - I discovered you can order extra pairs through Zenni for $20 a pop. You input the info rather than uploading a script, so if you know what you’re currently wearing, a spare pair isn’t the money hit it usually is from the eye doc. One of my dogs likes to steal my glasses off my nightstand, so guess how I figured this one out? Lol.

Lol I suspect you are just as hard headed as I am!!!

I need a new scrip too. I know my eyes have changed over the past year.

Wow. I've fallen a few times in my life. Once was similar to what you described, caught my foot on the step of my mom's front porch and my head hit her storm door. No damage to door, but I had a headache for two days and got in to the chiropractor as soon as possible. The kicker? Mom was in the rehab clinic following knee replacement. I was taking care of the house. And locked myself out of the house. She had a key to the door, but NOT a key to the storm door...which was locked. I got it all straightened out, had a locksmith come out and rekeyed all three doors into the house to use the SAME key and made extras of the storm door key. Mom was impressed, lol.

It feels really good, doesnt it? Prob no hope of a chiro this week with the storm.

Glad you were ok and got the locks straightened out!

Hope you get to chiro soon. Maybe the storm won't be as bad as is forecast. Most of my friends have no idea about farming and dealing with livestock and they think I'm a little weird because I actually like the aroma of fresh sheep fleece. I miss my trips to a local farm where I could sit in the barn and let the goat kids climb all over me and help milk their moms.

They just upped our snow totals to 8-12" and north of us, where the chiro is, 12-24". It looks like the track is moving a bit more south and I suspect they will be closing all the local roads before morning. I adore the smell of my sheep, and my horses, and when I had them, my cows. They all smell so yummy!

Kind of depends on if I can get the door fixed tonight. Son is bringing home a carpenter friend to look at it, and if I can keep the furnace running!
