I will send some rain your way. We have been sweltering in 100 degree heat and smothering humidity. Now it is raining. Lots. 3 inches so far today. Welcome to Australia 🇦🇺 😄

Only really need the TP for me, the boys can have a piece or two from my secret stash when necessary. Pizza always. They are too young for beer, but an occasional Melatonin for them might be necessary so I can recuperate from the fun filled day!

Oh girlfriend, all is not right in Virginia either. Christmas warm and rainy. January torrential rains, then artic temps and last week back in the 80's. Next week a total massive snowstorm or a total miss, not in between. But too far out to know for sure. We have so many variables that mess with our weather. We have the ocean, mountains and valleys. The weather is so different just 30 miles away. My son could have a foot of snow, and I won't even get a flake. It is 50 out there now and sunny.

All I can say is IF and I mean IF Northern Virginia (where all the crazies of DC live) gets clobbered with feet of snow it will be hilarious. I will be fine (grew up along Lake Erie's snowbelt, New England, have a 4-wheel drive SUV, and a generator). I will pop popcorn and watch all the heads explode in DC. Schools will be closed for at least a week. Guess I need to make a Costco run for snacks, juice boxes, and kid friendly meals in case I get the monsters aka darling grandsons (5 & 8) for a few days.

Stay safe out there!

Same thing in northwest Montana, where I live. We had that same arctic blast the other week that took us down to -30 at night (my car wouldn't start for three days), but this week it's gonna be in the mid-40s and rainy, melting all the snow we got (which wasn't much, certainly not enough according to the locals).

Ugh I feel your pain. Lost a battery on one of my trucks with that insane blast!
